What We Do Today is What Creates Tomorrow.
“The future depends on what we do in the present.” –Mahatma Gandhi
What a concept. It is so easy to get stuck in the short term demands of life. And it is equally as easy to wonder the day away about the long term achievements that we are pursuing.
If we use perspective as a tool for our personal motivation techniques it can make all of the difference. Take the quote above by Gandhi, for example. The idea is that all dreams and goals can be achieved, maybe not today, but that today matters significantly in the future victories in our lives. What we actively involve ourselves in currently will literally create the accomplishment and success of our wildest dreams—so long as today, TODAY, we make active strides towards these long-term goals.
As 2011 continues to blossom, remind yourself and your loved ones that today’s efforts are what will ensure tomorrows’ successes.

Great blog! I love that quote. Every day does matter and the more we remember that, the more we can make out of the present for a better future!
